Wanneer gebruiken we de  'zero conditional'? 
> Wordt gebruikt voor dingen die absoluut gebeuren. Zonder twijfel. 
>> Algemene waarheden en wetenschappelijke feiten
> Wanneer dit gebeurt, gebeurt er dit

Wanneer gebruiken we de 'first conditional'? 

> Wordt gebruikt als het best waarschijnlijk is dat iets gaat gebeuren.
> Wanneer het om een alledaagse situatie gaat.
>> If zin  daarna hoofdzin ( of andersom)

Gebruik: als het gaat over iets wat niet zo waarschijnlijk is dat het ooit zal gebeuren/ iets iets je fantasie, nu of in de toekomst.


Vorm: if + past simple, would/might/could + hele werkwoord

Verschil tussen 1st and 2nd conditional:
First conditional: If I have enough money, I'll buy some new shoes.

De kans dat je dit zegt en genoeg geld bij elkaar weet te sparen is groot of groter dan bij de second conditional.

Second conditional: If I had enough money I would buy a house with twenty bedrooms and a swimming pool.

Waarschijnlijk ga ik nooit zoveel geld krijgen dus dit is maar een droomscenario of fantasie, dus niet echt!

It's much more likely that I'll have enough money to buy some shoes
