What was the passive form?

when you don`t want to put the focus on the actor of a sentence you use the passive form.

Example:

The ball was kicked by the boy

Difference active & passive form

The boy kicked the ball (active)

The ball was kicked by the boy (passive)

we decorated the room (active 

The room was decorated by us (passive)

Mother made a cake yesterday.

The boy teased the girl.

The tiger was chasing the deer.

She has written a novel.

She has learned her lessons.

Possesive

You use the possesive to show that something is yours.

You add the 's behind the noun

Example: My mother`s kitchen has been renovated.
