Questions in the past: did + subject + verb

Did you work very hard last week?

Did your parents give you money for the school trip?

Did Ms. Wildeman sing in a choir when she was little?

WH-questions in the past: WH + did + subject + verb

Where did you live last year?

Why did you move to the United States five years ago?

Try to make a question using the past simple + give.

Try to make a question using the past simple + where + go.

Negatives in the past simple: did + not + infinitive (hele ww)

I didn't play soccer last year. 

Mikayla didn't hug her girlfriend yesterday. 

My parents didn't name me after that actres. 

Did + not = didn't
