IF-sentences
(First conditional - 'de echte If-zin')

Slide 12 - Slide

If I won a lot of money, I would buy a big house in the country.

Slide 13 - Slide

If-sentences (first conditional)
Bestaan uit 2 delen:
- Bijzin met voorwaarde (begint met if)
- Hoofdzin met gevolg

Dus bijvoorbeeld:
If we miss the bus, we will get a taxi.

Slide 14 - Slide

Opbouw

If we miss the bus,                       we will get a taxi.
Present Simple              +               Will + verb

                   Condition                             Consequence

Slide 15 - Slide

Dus altijd:

If  + Person (he, she, I, we) + Present Simple , Person  will + hele ww

(kan natuurlijk ook andersom)

Person+ will + hele ww             +                  If..... Present Simple

Slide 16 - Slide

Bij I/he/she/it: Geen was, maar were
