What do you need?
  • books: stepping stones workbook A & B + reference book 
  • Finish Up vocabulary book 
  • notebook + pen 
  • laptop for LessonUp 
  • literature classes: novels/books. This will be announced in due time.

What about the curriculum?
Period 1: 
  • (1) listening/watching test CITO
  • (2) vocabulary test: finish up 62-75 (EN-NL), stepping stones chapter 1 (NL-EN) linking words document (you will get this one from me.)
Period 2: speaking: (1) mondeling + (2) vocabulary test 
Period 3: (1)  reading exam texts  (2) Shakespeare  (3) vocabulary test 
Period 4: (1) Argumentative essay in which you need to compare two novels.  NO VOCAB :)

What do I expect of you?
  • Try to speak as much English as possible. 
  • Be mindful, respectful & communicate!
  • Be on time: more than 5 minutes = too late. 
  • Raise your hand if you have a question. 
  • Bags are on the ground, phones in your pocket or in your bags. 
  • No eating in the classroom, drinking water is allowed.
