Een relative clause geeft extra informatie over een persoon, ding of plaats.

We use ''who'' or ''that'' for people 

Example: My sister, who is a teacher, lives in California. 

The person who I love the most is my mother. 

We use ''which'' or ''that'' for things

Example: Is this the computer that broke down?

This is the new shirt which I bought last week.

We use ''where'' for places

Example: This is the town where I grew up. 

This is the café where I met my boyfriend.
