Note: What is a tornado?
  • A fast rotating column of air that touches the ground.
  • Lasts short ( a few minutes or less)
  • Size is small (max. 150 meters wide)
  • Forms on land only
  • Forms during heavy thunderstorms
  • Causes extreme wind speed and damage
  • Very unpredictable (onvoorspelbaar!!!)
