Used to, Be used to & Get used to

Used to

You use 'used to' to say...

... that something happened regularly in the past , but now it doesn't anymore.

How do you make this form?

Used to + verb

I used to be small.

You used to go there every week.

he/she/it used to have braces.
We used to play football.

They used to have long hair

Negations 'used to'

How do you make a negations with used to?

To make a negations you put 'didn't' in front of 'used to'. Lose the D of used.

They didn't use to do that.

She didn't use to call me.

To say that you do/did something Now and it is no problem

I am used to waking up early.

Shirley was used to her brother shouting late at night.

Get used to

To say that you are will do somthing in the future

I will get used to waking up early because of my new job.

It doesn't take long to get used to speaking English in class.
