So there will be lots of writing

Slide 14 - Slide

Slide 15 - Open question

ALL OF IT!
Word order, present simple, A / AN, this/that/these/those

The best way to improve is to practice and that is what we will do!

Slide 16 - Slide

How to write a review?
A good review has both
information about the
service/object but also your
experience.

Slide 17 - Slide

Bad reviews

Slide 18 - Slide

Good review:
Gives factual information first, what is the story about? What can I expect of the book?

Gives your opinion and explains why your opinion is that way.

Slide 19 - Slide

Example
I read the diary of a wimpy kid with my first years, most
of them had already read it in Dutch. The book is about a boy who goes to middle school and tries to fit in which suits their perspective!

I highly recommend this book to other teachers, the book has pictures supporting the texts and it is not too long!

Slide 20 - Slide

Your turn!
Write a review of 100 words about a book you have read this schoolyear.
The review must be written in English but it does not have to be about an English book
In 15 minutes you will share your review with classmates.
