I/you/we/they + infinitive

1) He works at home.

* words ending in -o (1)
* words ending in s-sound (2)

y --> ies for the following:

The baby was crying while the dog was barking.
They were driving when the car broke down.
to be + Subject + infinitive + ing?

Are you listening to me?
Were they dancing when you walked in?

I have not seen you for months!

he/she/it + has(not) + 3rd form/infinitive+ed

Past Continuous

2) I was swimming in the pool while my sister was sunbathing.
3) I was having a shower when the water stopped.
