The Vietnam Draft

In the 1960s (most of our parents were born during that time). The Vietnam War took place between The USA and Vietnam. Young men were drafted (opgeroepen om te vechten). Unfortunately, there are many wars going on in the World. In which country men are drafted as well? 

In which country men are forced to fight for their country as well?

Russian-Ukrainian War

Young men are also conscripted (are forced to fight) in Russia. Putin has sacrificed so many young men right now that he's even thinking about forcing criminals to fight at the front. On the contrary, Ukrainian men voluntarily serve their country in the war. But there are some reports that it's happening there as well (youg men being forced to fight at the front).

Some men were lucky. Name one reason why someone wouldn't have to fight in the Vietnam War.

The Military officials changed the system in how people were selected to join the army. How did they change the system?
