Modals in the Negative Form
To make a modal negative, add 'not' after the modal verb. Examples include 'cannot', 'may not', and 'must not'.

"Must" drukt uit wat de spreker vindt dat moet gebeuren (interne verplichting). Bijvoorbeeld: "I must go to my friend's birthday".
"Have to" drukt uit dat er een regel is waaraan je je moet houden of dat je iets van een ander moet doen (externe verplichting). Bijvoorbeeld: "I have to wear a school uniform".
