How to write your haiku.
1. Brainstorm words that are about nature. (as a class)
For example: rain, clouds, soft breezes.
2. Choose the words that you like from this list.
3. Count the syllables (parts) of the words.
4. Put them together using the pattern. (5-7-5 syllables)
5. Think of a TITLE for your haiku.
6. Draw a picture to go with your haiku.
7. Hand in at the end of class!
