When he enters the train and sits down, you follow him and start the conversation:

‘Good afternoon, Sir/Madam.
Can I see your ticket, please?’

B
You are in a terrible hurry. You have a job interview in Utrecht and you are already running late. When you get to the train station, you look for your train card… Chips! You left your wallet at home!
There is no time to go back, so you decide to take the chance and you jump over the turnstile. You quickly enter the train and sit down.

Then you here someone say in a stern voice:
‘Good afternoon, Sir/Madam.’

You have to think fast now….
