Present Perfect in Dutch

In Dutch, Present Perfect is translated as 'voltooid tegenwoordige tijd' and is used similarly to English.

Present Perfect - How?

Je gebruikt de present perfect: 

- Als je wilt zeggen dat iets is gebeurd en het niet belangrijk is wanneer het gebeurd is.

- Als je wilt zeggen dat iets in het verleden is begonnen en nog steeds doorgaat (since, for of in)

Present Perfect - How?

Je maakt de present perfect door:

(+) onderwerp + have / has + voltooid deelwoord. 

Het voltooid deelwoord eindigt op -ed bij regelmatige werkwoorden
