-Who gebruik je als je een persoon wil betrekken bij een bijzin...
He's the person who lost his wallet yesterday. 

- Whose geeft bezit aan en betekent (wiens / van wie); en dit klinkt heel vreemd, maar is wel zo... 'whose' gebruik je ook bij het bezit van dingen 

* The person whose wallet got stolen, was called by the police yesterday. 
*  The building whose roof was leaking, was repaired yesterday.
