Future: Going to
Je gebruikt to be going to + hele werkwoord als:
- iemand een voorspelling doet en er bewijs is.
- iemand iets van plan is / een beslissing maakt en dat al vaststaat / eerder is afgesproken.

- Frits: "Patrick told me you're going on holiday."
- Marly: "Yes, we are going to invite our dearest friends to come with us."
--> Het is al eerder afgesproken --> to be going to + hele werkwoord

- Look at the dissappearing clouds. It is going to be sunny any moment now.

The present continuous can also be used to talk about something that is going to happen in the future. You are certain it will be going on for a longer time. 

VB: I'm flying to Cyprus next week.

When you make a negative sentence make sure to use not in the sentence.

VB: Next year we are not moving to Spain.

The present simple can also be used to talk about something that is going to happen in the future. The present simple is used for things that on a fixed schedule or timetable. 

VB: The train leaves at six tomorrow.

The rule: The present simple is used for things happening now or in the future that are on a fixed schedule or timetable. It is always in the present. A verb used in the present simple has one of two forms: Base Verb OR Verb+s. (SHIT rule)

For any other sentences in the future tense you can use Will or Shall. Shall is always used when asking a question for the future.

Shall + base verb.
