Wordt gebruikt als iets in het verleden is gebeurd en nog niet is afgelopen !
Wordt gebruikt voor ervaringen, iets wat je altijd al hebt willen doen of iets wat je nog nooit hebt gedaan !

Het is wel al afgelopen maar je gebruikt toch 
de present perfect....

Het is  afgelopen maar het resultaat is belangrijker dan wanneer het is gebeurd.


I have lost my keys.
Je bent niet meer bezig je sleutels te verliezen maar het resultaat ( bv. je kunt je huis niet in) is belangrijker dan wanneer het is gebeurd.
