Goal: you will understand more about factory farming, the impact one day without meat has and about alternatives to meat.

What is factory faming?

Factory Farming:

Factory farming is a form of intensive agriculture that involves confining large numbers of animals within small, sorely inadequate living spaces for companies to maximize profits in selling their bodies or milk to consumers. Various species are targeted for factory farming, including pigs, cows, sheep, turkeys, chickens, and ducks.

What can we do?

One day a week without meat

Skipping one serving of beef every Monday for example,  for a year saves the equivalent emissions to driving 348 miles (560km) in a car.

You don't actually have to eat all the recipes (although that would be great!).

Make sure you only pick recipes you would actually like to eat!
