a poem is a writing often about someones feelings or place at a day to day basis.

lets look at an example of a poem!
a sunny day.
the sun shined brighter than a torch,
the wind blowing in the air almost making it feel like a blizzard
something on the floor almost looking like a lizzard,
a sunny day.
my icecream melting down my hands,
cars delting down the road,
going to the park.
the sun was gleaming into the trees,
almost like a diamond,
we are joyful and full of laughter,
we are going on the slide,
with loads of kids by the side,
were going on the swing flying high,
and lots of kids that are really shy,
going to the park.
the chains are warm,
it is nearly day its the dawn,
whilst the children are playing near the wall.
