What is an infographic?

• Informative illustrations with a combination of text and images.
• The short texts in an infographic are just as important as the images.
• 90% of the information we process in our brains is visual.

• Een infographic wordt ingezet wanneer er een moeilijk onderwerp dat meerdere cijfers bevat, moet worden uitgelegd. Bij een infographic moet het in één oogopslag duidelijk zijn waar de afbeelding over gaat. Daarnaast moeten de verschillende cijfers die worden weergegeven de kijker meteen iets vertellen. 
• Een infographic lijkt makkelijk om te maken, maar dat is juist erg lastig.
