What was life like in Britain during the Middle Ages?
You are going to watch an animated video version of the Old English poem, Beowulf. This story was produced between 975 and 1025 by an anonymous writer.  The story takes places in 6th century Scandinavia, where a brave warrior Beowulf battles with three monsters. The story of Beowullf was of great inspiration for J.R.R. Tolkien, who wrote high fantasy classics like The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings. After the video, answer the questions.
