Dialects, like spoken languages, have their own vocabulary, accents, grammar and intonation. Dialects are basically countries without armies. They have the ground rules, but are not registered as 'official'. This means that they are not official languages, but they do have all the characteristics.

Different accents, dialects, official, non-official, slang, creole, other varieties.

Used by people to communicate. Not by machines. Language is spontaneous, always moving, never the same. Language is determined by the people who use it! People decide what ends up in dictionaries or not even: What language is used in a region or country.

America 'uses' English But it isn’t a national language. America doesn't have an official language.

Attitudes towards language need to change

- Communication is possible without perfect grammar.
- Students do not need to speak English like a native.
(I dont even speak like I write for school in my first language)
- You should always tickle your brain tho! Laziness does not do any good to the brain.
- Challenge youself, but have realistic expectations of yourself!
