The Rules

- Geen eten of drinken, heb je hoge nood, vraag het dan even.

- Vinger omhoog als je iets wilt vragen/vertellen

- Als één iemand praat, ben je stil

Today's goal

At the end of the lesson you will know what you have to do at the speaking test.

At the end of the lesson you will have started writing your speaking test. 

Speaking test

- Explanation test -> what do you have to do?

- When do you have to do it? -> write this down!

- Start writing

You are going to tell something about yourself in front of the class.

You have to talk for 2 minutes (at least a minute and a half and at most 3 minutes).

1 minute = -1 point will be taken from your score

1 ½ minute = normal points

2 ½ minutes = +1 point will be added to your score

You have to talk about the following things, but feel free to add other subjects:

- Introduce yourself.

- Talk about your appearance.

- Tell something about your family. Talk about at least two family members, tell what they are like and describe their looks.

- What are your hobbies?

- Say a bit more about your hobbies.

- Do you have any pets? If not, please mention this.

- What can you tell about your pets?

- Anything else you would like to tell us?

If you want, you can make a PowerPoint presentation or a poster to use during your speaking exam. This is an option, you don’t have to do that.

You are not allowed to write your story on a piece of paper and read it to the class.

You are allowed to write down some words to help you. If you want to use those words, show the paper to your teacher.

- We doen 10 leerlingen per les.

- Jij zorgt ervoor dat je opschrijft wanneer jij aan de beurt bent.

- Start writing your presentation on your computer

- Use the list of things that must be in your presentation.

- You may use google translate
