Work in pairs (sign up with me today)
All the work you do is done in class and it is handwritten. No laptops, no homework!
There are three deadlines.
On deadline day you hand in the required material before the end of class. Not handing it in class will result in a 1,1 for the owner of that particular item.
Your work will be graded using the rubric in Moodle.

Deadlines for hand in
1: Make an outline
(Monday 8 December)
2: Make a line up poster and a leaflet

Slide 4 - Tekstslide
1: Make an outline (hand in on Monday 8 December)
Pick a Theme: Decide what your festival will be about. Besides music and performance art or theatre you could also include food, movies, art, games, or anything else you love. Explain why you picked this theme and what makes it special.
Choose a Location: Pick a place where your festival will happen. It can be a park, a school, a beach, or the moon. Explain why this place is perfect for your festival. Think about how many people can fit, how easy it is to get there, and why it matches your theme.
Set a Date: pick a date for your festival. Think about the season and weather, and make sure it doesn’t clash with other big events.
Make a schedule of activities: make sure there is more than only music at your festival. It should offer different kinds of entertainment and/or art.
On the first deadline day you hand in: a description of your festival theme, explanation of location and date and a schedule of activities. Your text should be 400 words.

(hand in on Monday 15 December)
Group member 1 makes a poster.
The poster is an A4 or A3 sheet of paper.
Group member 2 makes a leaflet in which the festival visitors can read background information on the performers and activities.
The leaflet is one folded A4 sheet of paper.
Slide 7 - Tekstslide
On the poster we can see who or what will be performing or presenting at your festival.
Make it colourful and exciting!
Include the name of your festival, the date, and the location.
List all the cool things that will happen at your festival. This could be music performances, food stands, games, art shows, etc.
In the leaflet you describe why you like your chosen artists.
Explain what is good about their music and why the visitors should go see them. Discuss for instance:
Uniqueness Talk about what makes their style stand out to you. Is it innovative, traditional, or a unique blend of influences?
Emotional Connection
Feelings: Explain how their work makes you feel. Does it evoke joy, sadness, inspiration, or nostalgia?
Personal Impact: Share any personal stories or memories associated with their work. How has their art impacted your life or perspective?
Themes: Discuss the themes or subjects they explore. Are they addressing social issues, personal experiences, or universal themes?
