Use Much for words that are uncountable (niet te tellen):
sugar, money, time, enz.

Use many for words that are countable (wel te tellen):
Euros, friends, minutes, enz.

Some or Any
Some and Any both mean a little (een beetje)

  • Use Some for affirmative sentences, when you make an offer or for requests
I have some money / Could I have some money please?

  • Use Any for denials and questions
I don't have any money. / Have you got any questions?
