Je portfolio is bij voorkeur in het Nederlands. 

Heb je een moeilijke vraag en kom je er niet uit? Dan mag je wisselen naar Nederlands.

Most of the assignments, lessons and explanations will be in English. 

If you are allowed to talk to eachother, it will be in English.

Try to ask questions in English.

Don't forget

- Bring a charged Chromebook each lesson. Don't use it untill I tell you to

- Bring your own HB pencil and glue stick
- We don't have many lessons together because of the year planning, so there are some strict deadlines. So keep up, we will make it work

- Ask me anything about choosing art in the upper levels

- We will be continuing with the art portfolio

composition-> the way you place all of these elements on your art work. 

Assignment - Name card

You will be drawing your own name as a name card. You will be using specific elements of art to do so. 

Using the elements of art in the correct way will earn you a sufficient. Being creative and technical with it will improve your mark even more. 

  

Assignment 

You will create a poster about one of the elements of art.

You will work in the group you are sitting with right now.  

What to do?

1. You will get an instruction paper with a few elements of art, write these on the back of your paper and use all of them. Each individual gets different instructions. You can help each other and talk about your ideas and solutions. 
2. Optional: Do research about the elements you are unsure about (use your Chromebook)
3. Fold your paper in 3, so it creates a triangle. This way you can put it on your table. (use tape if necessary)
4. Draw your own name, using shapes (Not just lines). Draw it in the middle segment of your folded paper. Then continue with the elements of art. Be creative, make it your own, have fun with it. 
5. You can use different techniques, you choose. Choose something that fits your elements of art. 
6. You only have todays lesson, work quickly! Don't think about it to much and don't make it complicated. 
7. Also write your first and last name + class on the back. 

Grading

--> This assignment will count 1x

-->You get a point for using all of your given elements of art. If you used them all correctly you will have a sufficient (6). 

-->Earn more points by:

       - being creative

       - originality

       - proper technique

       - working neatly

       - work ethic, doing your best and showing that in class 

--> You may lose points if you "throw your hat at it" 

What to do?

1. Each group gets an element of art
2. Do research about the topic (use your chromebook, or books provided)
3. How do you translate the element of art to one clear image?
4. As a group you will choose your own technique/material. (talk to the teacher)
5. Work on A3 paper, use the given scheme. 
6. You only have todays lesson, work quickly!
7. Write your names on the back.

Draw the elements of art on one sheet. 

What to do?

• Create 7 boxes for 7 different element.
• Copy the examples if you don't know what to do. 
• Make it as fancy as you can, show me what you can do!
• I like it if you are original. 
• Finish it today!
• Use different materials for each element
  
• Take a photo of the work and add it to google classroom
