§3.3 Reading graphs

This paragraph is not that difficult (I think!).

It also doesn't ask that much time from you.

However, §3.2 Working with coordinates,

wasn't that simple!

A good Refresh on this follows now!

That is why .....

 we first look closely at a pretty difficult exercise  

It's very understandable if you did not understand all of it, yet.

 So this is your big chance to catch up!

This exercise we will go through, together.

it's not that simple.

So, pay attention well!

 

What the writer of the book forgot to mention is what we call the x-axis and the y-axis!

Here it comes:

watch the DIRECTION of the LINE 

through R and S closely!

What does all this mean?!

What does this scheme mean? This:

Watch the ARROWS, that mean moving to the right or up.

+  Going 3 grids to the right, means going up 2 grids, so

+  Going only 1 grid to the right means  going up           grids.

+  Next slide shows how to use this at 10c.
