Idioms & Useful Phrases for the Classroom

"It's pouring!" – It is raining very hard.

"I got soaked." – I got completely wet on the way to school.

"Cycling against the wind." – A phrase every student in the Netherlands understands immediately. (riding a bicycle while there are strong winds)

"Changeable weather" – Weather that changes quickly (sun, rain, wind all in one day).

"Layer up!" – Wear multiple clothes (sweater, coat, scarf) because it's cold.

TOA TOETS

De leerlingen moeten NIET in Google inloggen maar linksonder in de app

Schoolyear

-inloggen linksonder via de Schoolyear-app

- rechts op Jijlvs.nl klikken

- kiezen voor de onderste WITTE knop Inloggen via Entree (met het sleuteltje

ervoor)

- bij 'zoek je school' invullen: 'Grotius College'

- kiezen voor 'Grotius College Delft - Inloggen met Magister'

- en dan inloggen zoals ze dat ook bij Magister zelf doen

Daarna komen ze in de TOA-omgeving

Ze zien dan welke toetsen klaarstaan.

De docent geeft dan de Startcode van de te maken toets aan de leerling.

De leerling voert deze in en moet dan op Continue klikken zodat de toets ook

opstart.

Resultaat zoeken?

- Ga naar 'Afnames' en vul de naam van de leerling in van wie je het resultaat

niet kan zien.

- Zoek de toets waarachter 'Gestart' staat onder de afnamestatus en noteer de

Startcode indien van toepassing

- Klik op het oogje erachter en zoek de leerling op

- Klik op de drie puntjes achter de leerling en dan op 'Schoolyear beheer'

- Klik op 'uitgeschakeld' en Bevestigen

- Laat de leerling vervolgens in de Googleomgeving (dus niet in

Schoolyear) inloggen (of doe dat zelf als de leerling al weg is, en lukt dat niet

bericht mij dan!) in Jijlvs.nl via de Entree knop

- Laat de Startcode invullen indien van toepassing en klik op 'Ga verder'

Nu is de toets wel gelijk 'afgesloten' aangezien de toetstijd al voorbij is en kun

je dus het resultaat wel zien!
