Instructions

• Groups of  4 (B1-2/A2 split up; 1 per group)
• First, you each read the text (5 mins)
• Work together to understand the text (10 minutes)
• Ask each other the 'WH'-questions to check (who, what, where, why)
• Each member of the group gets a number ranging from 1 -4
• Take turns answer a question (more info follows later)

How to calculate the scores?

• Regular playing card =     

       number on the card

• Jack, Queen, King = 10 points
• Joker = 0 points
• Ace =  20 points
• Three of hearts  = 30 points

Stel de eerste vraag en laat de leerlingen even nadenken. Laat hen het antwoord opschrijven en tel af van 5 naar 1. Als de leerlingen dit gedaan hebben kun je de antwoorden delen met de klas en punten geven aan de goede antwoorden. De punten kun je bijhouden op het grote bord, door te turven. Vertel hierna dat de tweede van de volgorde op de stoel mag komen zitten. Je kunt de punten ook bijhouden op een blaadje als docent. Zo is het nog een geheim wie de meeste punten heeft, wat het spel leuker maakt.
