From this week on, we will work on academic vocabulary. Knowing the most common words academic words makes it easier to read academic texts and listen to academic lectures. It will also help you understand and analyse them.
From this week on, we will be working on our academic vocabulary. This week, we focused on the words assess to export.  Next week we'll discuss the next 25 words from the list.

This rehearsal is meant to help you build understanding of the words. This will be useful in class, assessments and your future career.

Academic word list structure
  1. Word families (e.g. analyse)
  2. Each word family has members (e.g. analysis and analytical)
  3. These are:
- verbs (The student analyses the method): doing it
- adjectives (three analysed methods): describing the noun
- and nouns (A thorough analysis of this method): thing or person
