Your Calculation may be a little shorter, as I said.

Most important is the correct formula, of course.

This formula is also correct:

1. attractions x 2.50 + 4 = cost
2. cost = 4 + 2.50 x attractions
3. cost = 2.50 + 4 x attractions
4. attractions x 4 + 2.50 = cost

1. 4 hours
2. 4 hours and 5 minutes
3. 4.5 hours

The calculation plus the final answer:

The formula is:       hours x 25 + 40 = cost

The cost is:              152.50  euros

The calculation runs as follows:

152.50 - 40 = 112.50

112.50 : 25 = 4.5         

So the number of hours is takes is 4.5

Task 7:

Give an example of a LINEAR FORMULA.

There are an infinite (=oneindig) number of answers here. Just a few:

-    time in hours x 3  +  15  = money earned in euros

-    cost in euros = 3000  -  15 x tickets sold

-    water level in cm = time in minutes x 15  +  300 

So, you have worked hard on all 3 paragraphs now by this LessonUp.

Hope you did well.

However, most important is that you PRACTISED a lot.

Repetition (=herhaling) is important to really take in something new!
