Voiceless or voiced
– standalone nouns starting with /th/ are usually voiceless: thought theatre throat
– pronouns starting with /th/ are usually voiced: they, that, 
– /th/ between two vowels is usually voiced: father, weather
– /th/ before a consonant is usally voiceless: bathroom, birthday, toothbrush
– /th/ at the end of a word is usually voiceless: earth, mouth
