2. Past simple passive
= je kunt/wil niet zeggen wie/wat iets gedaan heeft.
a. vorm
was(n't)/were(n't)  + past participle (= volt. deelw)
                                            = irregular (zie kader)
                                            OR verb+ed

Example: She was arrested.
Ow = I, he, she, it OR 1 pers/dier/ding = WAS

ow = you, we, they OF >1 pers/dier/ding = WERE

3. Asking questions
a. using question words
QW + hulpww + ow + main verb + rest?

     example: Where are you staying?
                        Who are you?
b. No question word, yes/no-questions
Do/does/did (of ander hulpww) + ow + inf (of andere vorm) + rest?
OR am/are/is/was/were + ow + rest?
     example: Do you like school? 
                        Are you at school right now?

4. Reported speech
1. Direct speech
= je geeft weer wat iemand letterlijk gezegd heeft.
Example: He said: 'She looks just like you.'
2. Indirect speech
= hier verander je het ww naar het ww waarin het eerste deel staat (meestal pa simple) en je past soms ook het voornaamwoord aan.
Example: He said she looked just like me.

5. Modal verbs
1. can/can't = kan (niet) / mag (niet)
2. could/couldn't = zou (niet) kunnen / kon (niet)
3. may/may not: zou (niet) 
4. might/ might not: zou (niet) -> kans is kleiner
5. Modal + have + past participle (irregular or verb+ed)
           Example: We could have died.
