Grammar Past simple and Present Perfect

Slide 24 - Slide

Grammar Past simple
You have to learn them by heart.

  • When I was a child, I really liked knights.
  • In the Middle Ages, people died at a young age.
  • She officially got her coat of arms yesterday.

Grammar present perfect

have/has + past participle (voltooid deelwoord)

Voorbeelden:

  • I have visited London twice.
  • She has just finished her homework.
  • We have never seen a real castle.

Woorden die vaak bij de present perfect horen: ever, never, just, already, yet, since, for, recently, so far.
