Unit 6

In this unit you will practise your speaking, listening and writing skills with regard to the field of construction and architecture. The grammar topics of this unit are the passive voice and modals in the past. Furthermore you will practise the Cambridge Reading and Use of English exam Part 6.

We're going to look at a video on a modern classic 12,712 sq ft mansion, situated in St George's Hill Estate, named 'Beech Rise'.

Assignment: write down as many adjectives and space names (e.g. the drawing room) that you come across.
