Why do you think we need to learn the passive voice?

Present simple: Tegenwo. Tijd

I receive gifts on my birthday.

She buys books at the store. = Books are bought at the store by her.

Rewrite the following sentence in the passive form: I close the door.

Past simple: 

to be (verleden tijd) = was / were

I bought a book yesterday.

We called the doctor's office. -> The doctor's office was called by us.

Rewrite the following sentence in the passive form: Someone stole his car yesterday

Present continuous: 

am/ are + verb + ing

I am typing words. / We are typing words.

He is interviewing the girl. = The girl is being interviewed by him

Rewrite the following sentence: The journalist is interviewing the woman.

Past continuous:

was / were + verb + ing

I was telling a story. -- A story was being told by me.

We were painting the windows. 

Rewrite the following sentence: The thieves were robbing the bank.

The present perfect =

have/has + past participle

I have finished my work. --> My work has been finished by me

The girl has written the article.

Rewrite the following sentence using the passive voice: The reporter has written the article.

The past perfect: 

had + past participle

I had read the book. -> The book had been read by me

We had perfected the recipe.

Rewrite the following sentences using the passive voice: We had perfected the recipe.
