Present perfect - wanneer?

• Als iemand met iets in het verleden begonnen is en nog steeds doet
  –> I have played tennis for three years now.
• Als iets in het verleden begonnen is en nog aan de gang is
  --> We have lived in Amsterdam since 2012.
• Als iemand iets heeft gedaan of er is iets gebeurd waarvan de resultaten nog merkbaar zijn
  --> Robert has lost his keys
  Vaak komen in de zin de woorden for of since voor.

Present perfect - hoe?

De present perfect (voltooid tegenwoordige tijd) wordt gevormd door:

have / has + ww + ed bij regelmatige werkwoorden; 

•     I have lived in this house for two years now.                                           
•     He has owned that car since 1999.

Have / has + werkwoordsvorm uit het 3e rijtje bij onregelmatige werkwoorden; 

•       My father has seen that film three times already.
•       My parents have been in New York 5 times now.

Denk eraan :

•        HAVE bij: I / you / we / they / you
  
•        HAS = SHIT-regel, dus bij: he / she / it
