The Present Perfect Continuous 

- When the activity annoys you:

Example: I have been waiting for your reply for over a week!

The Present Perfect Continuous 

- When something started in the past and it still continues and you really want to emphasize the length of time 

Example: I have been studying English for five years (AL vijf jaar lang en nu nog steeds). 

The Present Perfect Continuous 

- With the keywords 'recently' en 'lately':

Example: Recently, I have been feeling sick.

It has been raining all morning.

It has rained, so there's a puddle

I've been looking forward to the holidays!
