  • There are pens on my table.
  • There are animals in the zoo.

  • There isn’t (There is not)

  • There isn’t a window in my room.
  • There aren’t ten balls, there are only five.

‘S / ‘Ve got 
Example:
  •  Justin has got glasses
  • Justin’s got glasses
  •  They have got a lot of money
  • They’ve got a lot of money

  • Some en any betekenen hetzelfde: een aantal, een beetje, enkele of wat.
  • I have some cookies
  • I don’t have any cookies
  • Do you have any cookies left? 

  • Wanneer gebruik je some en wanneer gebruik je any?
  • - some is voor bevestigende (+) zinnen
  • - any is voor ontkennende (-) en vragende (?) zinnen
