Present simple -> The bus leaves at 6.

Present continuous -> I'm leaving for Paris tomorrow.

to be going to -> She's going to move to Paris next summer.

will/shall -> I will live in Paris one day.

The Future - Present simple

Dingen die volgens schema gaan gebeuren:

The Future - present continuous

Dingen die gepland zijn en vrijwel zeker gaan gebeuren. Je hebt er bijvoorbeeld al dingen voor geregeld.

Unfortunately, their top scorer isn't coming.

Are you going there by bike?

Als het plan er al was vóór het gesprek.

Bij een voorspelling die gebaseerd is op een aanwijzing:

Look at those dark clouds! It's going to rain today

Bij een voorspelling die gebaseerd is op een mening, of onzekerheid over de toekomst, in combinatie met bijvoorbeeld: I think, probably of possibly.

Bij een spontaan aanbod, weigeringen, beloftes, voorstellen of verzoeken.

I'll get the door for you.

A well-mannered child will hold the door for an elderly person.

Future: gaat het gebeuren?

Present Simple: gaat zeker gebeuren

Present continuous: gaat vrijwel zeker gebeuren

To be going to + hele werkwoord: gaat ooit gebeuren

Will/shall + hele werkwoord: spontaan of onzeker dat het gaat gebeuren

Maak de volgende zinnen af:
