Slide 10 - Tekstslide

How are erosion coasts formed?
Take figure 16 in front of you:
1. Waves are crashing onto the lower layers of the cliff.
2. Because of erosion, a hole is formed in the cliff.
3. Salt crystals are left behind in the holes in the cliff.
4. Salt crystals stick together. Because of this, holes and cracks are growing.
5. Holes in the cliff are becoming too big; upper parts are becoming too heavy.
6. A part of the cliff is breaking off.
