Tenses (present simple, present continuous, past simple, etc.)
change the verb (= ww) in a sentence, because the time in which an action/event took place changes.
- We use the present perfect when talking about finished actions that are important now.
have (not)/has (not)+ past participle (= voltooid deelwoord)
> It has rained non-stop for the past 5 weeks.
- For questions, 'have' or 'has' goes before the subject of the sentence.
> Has he worked as a waiter before?
> What have you done today?
