PAST SIMPLE

Hierbij gebruik je signaalwoorden zoals always, constantly, forever, all the time, continually etc.

Voorbeelden
  • We were playing FIFA when Jackson came into the room.
  • They were constantly fighting while they were married.
  • I was doing the laundry outside when it suddenly started raining.

Slide 10 - Slide

PRESENT PERFECT

Voorbeelden
  • We have been friends for 17 years.
  • They have visited their family in Australia five times.
  • She has broken her leg, so she can't run the marathon this weekend.
