Add –ed OR an irregular form.
Signal words
Yesterday, last week, last month, two days ago, four days ago, months ago, a second ago, etc.

- Iets is in het verleden gebeurd en de nadruk ligt op het resultaat.
- Iets is in het verleden gebeurd, maar het is niet duidelijk of belangrijk wanneer precies.
- Iets is echt zojuist gebeurd.

Always, never, ever, for, since, how long, so, because, just, today
Examples
They have visited Paris multiple times since covid ended.
