Na een vorm van 'to do' gebruik je ALTIJD een HEEL werkwoord!
Did you see the accident last night?

Present perfect
In de present perfect heb je de 3e vorm dus altijd nodig: 
in bevestigende zinnen, vraagzinnen en ontkennende zinnen:

He has bought a new car.
Has he bought a new car?
He hasn't bought a new car.

1: is het op dit moment nog aan de gang?
Ja: present perfect. Nee: ga naar vraag 2
2: Staat er een bepaling van verleden tijd in de zin?
Ja: past simple. Nee: present perfect.

For Since Always Never Ever  - dan present perfect!
