no easy way to do it = learn the correct patterns for each verb
check in a dictionary if you're not sure
like vs would like
love vs would love
prefer vs would prefer

She likes wearing red. I love shopping for clothes. I prefer buying things online. = facts about sb's likes/dislikes

I'd like to buy a shirt. I'd love to work in a clothes shop. I'd prefer to find a nice skirt. = polite way of saying that you want to do something now/in the future
