We gebruiken must voor meer persoonlijke meningen over dingen waarvan we vinden dat het nodig is dat ze worden gedaan. De spreker vind dat het moet.

I must remember to get a present for Daisy. (my opinion)
I must go to the hairdresser. (my hair is too long).
