How would it have felt if the opposite person had kept taking a step forward even when you asked them to stop?

How might someone communicate that they want the other person to stop?

What are they?

Personal boundaries are limits and rules everyone can set which make them feel comfortable and safe. These can change from person to person. They may also change over time. 

What does 'personal boundaries' mean?

1. limits and rules which everyone can set

3. A persons friendships with others

Do all people like hugs?

Do all people like high fives?

2. No

Does everyone have the same personal boundaries?

Respecting others personal boundaries

Everyone has different personal boundaries and has the right to say NO or STOP at any point. 

You should always ask someone for their consent before you give them a hug, touch them or invade their personal space.

Can your personal boundaries change for different people?

1. No. They must all be the same!
2. Yes. They can always change!
3. Never. You have to stick to the same rules.

How does it make you feel when people don't respect your boundaries?

Someone runs up to you in the playground and gives you a big hug.
You did not want a hug from that person.
