Empowering ECTs Webinars

Edtech for ECTs

In the first webinar in our ECT series, we will introduce teachers to the topic of Edtech and particularly to LessonUp. We will look at how tools within LessonUp can support ECTs in starting their journey as a teacher and provide a selection of engaging interactive tools and techniques for ECTs to use in lesson planning.

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  • Have an understanding of what ‘digital tools’ and technology can enhance classroom teaching
  • Be able to choose from a selection of interactive tools to use in your classroom

What makes a great lesson?

This session is designed to inspire and motivate ECTs to develop their lessons, incorporating some of the fantastic interactive tools within LessonUp. We will look at how LessonUp supports teachers to structure  their lessons and how, with the support of our interactive features, all teachers can produce innovative and engaging lesson content.

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  • Feel confident to plan a lesson in LessonUp
  • Understand how each part of a great lesson supports students in developing their understanding
  • Expand your repertoire of interactive tools and techniques to use in your classroom.

Routines that really work

Clear and consistent classroom routines support teachers and students alike to engage in learning and really get the most out of their classroom experience. This session unpicks how teachers can harness digital technology to support their routines and offer some great interactive strategies to try out in your classroom.

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  • Understand the impact of clear routines upon teaching and learning
  • Have a bank of LessonUp ideas to compliment your existing routines
So nice to have multiple ‘apps’ in one lesson without the need for students to log in with different usernames, passwords, QR codes.
